The History of Virtual Assistance


The history of the virtual assitant is quite short. It is also very hard to find statistics about the industry because of short time it has been around. Experts estimate that the term Virtual Assitant was first used between 1995-1997. Most virtual assistants reside in the US, but the number of VA's are growing world wide most noticably in places such as the U.K., Austrailia and Canada although there are many other countries that now have virtual assistants. Also some experts say that the total number of virtual assistants world wide is only around 1000.
